Tony McCraw
I was born in Galax, Virginia and reside in the Pipers Gap community of Carroll County. I am a graduate of Carroll County High School (1984), and Haywood Community College (1986). I started selling insurance part time in 1995 and have been blessed with the opportunity to open my own agency. I am an active member of Blue Ridge Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. I am a member of FLW Outdoors and tournament fish the BFL and Stren Series. I have been fortunate to travel all over the eastern US and fish with FLW Outdoors. I referee high school football and basketball and also college football. I have took this opportunity to try and be a help to others. It will be my priviledge to assist you with any of your insurance needs.
David J Banks, ChFC, CLU, CASL
I have lived most of my life in Carroll County. I graduated from Hillsville High School in 1969. I joined the National Guard in 1970 and finished active duty in 1976 with an honorable discharge.
In 1972, I completed my Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from Wythville Community College.
For the past fifteen years, I have been an insurance agent. During those years I have been a master agent several times. I completed my Chartered Financial Consultant designation (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter designation (CLU), and Chartered Advisor for Senior Living designation (CASL). In 1999 I completed my securities licenses (series 6 & 63) which allow me to sell mutual funds, variable annuities, and related products with Invest Financial.
I enjoy playing golf, riding motorcycles, and snow skiing. My wife (Mimi) and I have four wonderful grandchildren, and we are active members at First United Methodist Church in Galax.
